The Research Data Colloquium at FAU Erlangen Nuremberg takes place every Friday at 2 pm. Coscine will be presented there on Friday, May 17, 2024. In the preliminary stages of the colloquium, there have already been several lectures on getting started with RDM, so the lecture on Coscine offers a good opportunity to gain deeper insights into the storage of (meta)data, collaboration with other researchers or the archiving of research data. There will be presentations on various topics, such as Coscine’s stakeholders or the Scrum and Epic process. There will also be interactive phases and plenty of time for discussion. An RDM workshop will take place again this year, organized by the state initiative fdm.nrw and the Rhine-Ruhr Data Competence Centre. During the community workshop, participants will be able to work on various topics, try out new programs and exchange ideas with each other. There is expected to be a session on Coscine and the possible link to DataLad as part of the RDM workshop on March 20, 2024 from 1-4pm. After the official end of the RDM workshop, there will also be a Q&A session on Coscine, where you can ask any questions you may have about Coscine.

From September 12 to 14, 2023, the Conference on Research Data Infrastructure initiated by the association Nationale Forschungsdateninfrastruktur (NFDI) e.V. will take place for the first time. Over three days, topics from the field of FDM will be addressed and the development of an effective research data infrastructure for Germany and beyond will be considered from various perspectives. Coscine will be presented on September 13 starting at 11 am and there will be the opportunity to ask open questions and leave feedback. We look forward to seeing you there!
