To use Coscine, you have several options for logging in. Logging in via Shibboleth is possible for members of a participating organization, so after selecting the appropriate organization, you will be redirected to the single sign-on page. Alternatively, there is the possibility of logging in via ORCiD, especially for external project partners without single sign-on. ORCiD provides a free ID for researchers to uniquely link publications, research data, and other research projects. Note, however, that when you log in via ORCID, personal data such as your email address is not automatically transferred to Coscine. You must enter this manually in your user profile. In order to maintain an overview and to use ORCID and the sign-on method equally, you should link your accounts in your user profile. This way you can continue to access your projects even if you change institutes or universities.
