FAIR Digital Objects, or FDOs for short, are digital objects that are globally uniquely identified by a persistent identifier and are closely linked to metadata. FDOs were already available in Coscine, but they are now also visible in the web interface. Coscine assigns a handle-based ePIC-PID and a Kernel Information Profile to each project and resource. The FDO information can be displayed by resolving the PID of a project or resource. For more information, please refer to our documentation.
