We are pleased to inform you about new functions in Coscine-JARDS that specifically support the application for storage space and make the process more user-friendly overall. New additions include compact information texts on the individual resource types, which are available directly on the JARDS-Coscine homepage. They provide initial orientation and make it easier to decide which resource type to apply for. In addition, you now have the option of attaching a PDF document to your storage space request, such as a graphic of the planned workflow for data and metadata storage or a data management plan. This function serves to provide the assessors with additional, helpful information. If you wish to provide several files, please merge them into one PDF beforehand. The options for the new DataStorage.nrw storage system are now available in Coscine-JARDS. This means that researchers from all participating universities now have the opportunity to apply for storage space for the various resource types. The DataStorage.nrw system offers you a flexible and efficient solution for storing your research data and helps you to manage your projects optimally.
