June 30, 2025:
The development team is currently testing the connection of the new storage system on the test instance. After successful and comprehensive testing, the final go-live is imminent. DataStorage.nrw will then be available to all DH.NRW universities in the near future. An accompanying blog post on the official launch of DataStorage.nrw will be published in due course. It will contain all important information about the changes associated with the new system and the upcoming migration.
The first visible change concerns the display of resources within the platform: new icons identify LinkedData and GitLab resources. Specific icons are also being introduced for content in DataStorage.nrw to clearly distinguish resources that have already been migrated from those that have not yet been migrated.
May 27, 2025:
The launch of the new DataStorage.nrw storage system is being eagerly awaited. Due to technical delays, it has not yet been possible to go live. The development team is currently working on the final adjustments, so that initial internal tests with our own data can be carried out at the beginning of June. Once these tests have been successfully completed, the research data of Coscine users will be migrated in stages. All users have already been informed of this by email.
